| Directions Use Carisoprodol exactly as directed. YOU MAY TAKE Carisoprodol with food or milk to decrease the chance for stomach upset. STORE Carisoprodol at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Carisoprodol and you are using it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once. Cautions DO NOT TAKE Carisoprodol IF YOU HAVE HAD A SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION to aspirin or any medicine containing aspirin (check labels closely). A severe reaction includes a severe rash, hives, breathing difficulties, or dizziness. If you have a question about whether you are allergic to Carisoprodol, contact your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT TAKE other anti-inflammatory medicines while you are taking Carisoprodol. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, and many prescription medicines. Carisoprodol WILL ADD TO THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL and other depressants. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react to Carisoprodol. Using Carisoprodol alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. ALCOHOL WARNING: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take Carisoprodol or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Carisoprodol may cause stomach bleeding. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience skin rash, itching, wheezing, or difficulty breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. |
